Το Fujifilm GFX 100 είναι μια κάμερα μεσαίου μεγέθους με έναν εκπληκτικό αισθητήρα BSI-CMOS 102 Megapixel. Η κάμερα διαθέτει σταθεροποίηση εικόνας σε 5 άξονες, υβριδικό σύστημα αυτόματης εστίασης με κάλυψη σχεδόν 100% και βίντεο DCI και UHD 4K με έξοδο 10 bit 4: 2: 2. Το ανθεκτικό σώμα είναι σφραγισμένο με καιρικές συνθήκες, έχει οθόνες πληροφοριών OLED στην επάνω και πίσω πλάκα και αθλείται μια ενσωματωμένη λαβή που συγκρατεί ένα ζευγάρι μπαταριών. Η οθόνη LCD 3.2 ιντσών με διπλό μεντεσέ μπορεί να προσανατολιστεί τόσο για το τοπίο όσο και για την πορτραίτα και μπορεί να συνδεθεί μια μεγάλη, πολύ υψηλής κλίσης EVF. Η κάμερα διαθέτει δύο υποδοχές κάρτας SD και θύρες για μικρόφωνο, ακουστικά και τηλεχειριστήριο.
